This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.
Need an Official Record?
The most requested Milwaukee County records belong with these offices:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal records and CIB responses: contact Wisconsin DOJ's Crime Information Bureau through WORCS
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact MCSO Public Records or Jail Records
- Official Wisconsin checks: use Wisconsin DOJ's Crime Information Bureau
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Wisconsin expungement: file in the Milwaukee County case when the sentencing order and statute permit it
MCSO Public Records is at 821 W. State St., Room 102, Milwaukee, WI 53233; (414) 226-7085; weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Milwaukee Criminal Division customer window is outside Safety Building Room 117 at the same street address; (414) 278-4538.
